Thanks for a great year in 2016!
We hope you had a wonderful winter break. Happy New Year!
A short but important reminder list for things to think about in January:
The first semester continues through January so don’t forget to come to classes! If you are making a class change or adding a class, it is not a bad idea to start in the new class now. For added classes, you can pay a prorated amount of $20 per class for classes in January.
Costumes need to be ordered by mid January for our production of Thumbelina at the Lobero on June 2nd and 3rd. Because of that, it is important that you notify us of any changes to your child’s dance classes. If you are adding or dropping a class, or if you plan not to continue in the second semester, please let us know the first week of January.
If you have not completed the costume order form, please do so at our website, as soon as possible http://temp.gustafsondance.com/costume-order-thumbelina/
or you can stop by the studio and measure and fill out a paper form at the front desk.
Photos from Rudolph and Nutcracker Dress Rehearsals taken by Heidi Bergseteren of Montecito Photo and Design are on our website. Go to the bottom of the home page and click on Photo Orders. The password is “ssbyd”. Enjoy browsing and consider purchasing photos or products with photos directly from the site!
Teen Dance Star is on January 28th at the Lobero Theatre. There may be tickets left, especially outdoor patio seating for $15 each. Gustafson Dance/State Street Ballet Young Dancers Catherine Pizzinat and Karlise Loza will be representing our studio in the Top 10 of this local competition which brings funds back to the studio to provide scholarships for eligible dancers. We would love your support of the event and especially Catherine and Karlise who have been working hard, even over the break, to prepare for the show!
Lost and Found will be donated this week by January 12th so take a look for any missing items!
Thanks To You for Very Successful Holiday Shows.
This holiday season, we had some of the most exciting and well produced shows we have ever had. Thanks to you and your dancers for making everything run so smoothly and supporting ballet in Santa Barbara! Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the season.
