After the events of the last few weeks, it would be an understatement to acknowledge how heavy hearted we feel to those affected by the Thomas Fire and the resulting mudslides in Montecito and near Carpinteria. Many of our dancer families have had to evacuate for the second time in a month and we are keeping you in our prayers. Your dance family wants you to know that we are here to support you with any needs you may have.
To that end, we are putting a box up front if any families would like to donate gift cards of any amount to restaurants or stores in our area. We will deliver them to families at Gustafson Dance that were displaced by the recent weather and fire events. We have a couple other ideas in the works to help where we can and welcome any ideas from our community.
New Semester Starts, Tuition and Costume Orders Due
We know it has been the furthest thing from many of our minds but our new semester does start on January 29th and tuition was due Thursday, 1/16. If you are switching classes, adding, dropping or not continuing with classes this semester, we need to know for planning purposes. Payment can be made at our website.
Our first costume order for Madeline is going in this week and we were given a short extension given our community circumstances. We will need costume sizes as soon as possible if you haven’t provided them already. If you are unsure whether or not we were able to do this in your dancer’s class, please call the office right away to check.
More information on class parts, dress rehearsals and the like will be coming soon. If you have siblings in different shows, feel free to contact us and we can do all we can to put them in the same one.
